Actor/director/activist Joe Pantoliano (Joey Pants) discovered WH in 2007, and since then he and Matt have become fast friends and collaborators. Joey visited our studio in 2008, and he and Matt worked together to create a special edition 'Joey Pants' knife to benefit Joey's non-profit organization called No Kidding, Me Too (NKM2). Matt and WH are proud to work with Joey in support of this great cause, and the knife project raised almost $40,000.00 for NKM2.
Early in 2010 Joey lost all his favorite WH
pieces when his luggage was stolen, and Matt recently completed
three unique knives to get Joey's collection back on track! Each
blade was crafted with a custom piece of 'mosaic damascus' that
Joey personally obtained while attending the 2009 Blade Show
with Matt and WH.
Joey and Matt continue to work together on a new project for
sometime in 2011...
